August 14th, 2006

I still remembered the first time i played with kite. The small kite made from paper and pieces of bamboo and don’t forget to tide up with “tali kama”. Eh, how can i explain about tali kama, benang kenur, benang gelas in english? I have no idea… :D

The big kite i’ve ever seen is in Bali. Need more than 10 men to hold it, big truck to carry the kite, and need tali tambang (again, i can’t find tali tambang in english) to tide it.

At Sunday, August 13th 2006 i went to Tanah Lot to see how the International Kites Festival look like. It was really crowded. Around 300 meters from the place, i got a traffic. The longest traffic i’ve ever seen in Bali. Because there is only one way to go to Tanah Lot.

As usual, before i get in to the Tanah Lot area, i have to buy a ticket. The price is still the same with the last time i went to Tanah Lot, 7500 rupiahs. But really, the area was so crowded. I think that was the first time i saw Tanah Lot very crowded.

At the area, there is many kites in the air. From the small kites until the big kites. All kites was very interesting, with all the illustration that beyond my imagination. Gatot kaca, Crocodile, Human, Bird and many kind of kites look fieze the air.

Kites Festival

I got many pictures separates at two cameras. My camera, and my friend’s camera. I just uploaded the good images from my camera, and the rest will upload soon.

Yeah, i think this is enough to begin blogging with english. Sorry if you still find the wrong grammar and words, just telling me, ocreh?…

You are tryin’ to tell a story from the past, so you should use past tense instead of present tense.

    —–this is wrong—-
